The flavor is phenomenal
CBD gummies can be hit or miss in the taste department. Some people prefer gummies because they can be a delicious way to take CBD. But certain gummies can have a hemp-like aftertaste, which can be offputting to some.
Flavor-wise, Soul CBD’s gummies are a winner, according to our testers. Rita Mauceri, RVO Health senior commerce director, said that the raspberry Soul CBD gummies are the best she’s ever tried.
“These gummies do not have the hemp-y tinge or aftertaste that some other CBD products have,” she said. “The texture was also pretty perfect — not too spongy and not too hard.”
Christy Snyder, Healthline editor, tried the Seriously Sour flavor variety, which includes Blue Raz, Pink Lemonade, and Watermelon. “Great for those who want to mix it up with different flavors!” she said.
“My fav is the Blue Raz. I wished that the Pink Lemonade and Watermelon were a bit stronger in flavor profiles (they mostly just seemed… sweet),” Snyder said. “I also tried the Pineapple Mango and the Orange Cream flavors, and liked both of those as well.”

They’re gentle but effective for stress
Both Snyder and Mauceri have tried a variety of CBD products for stress management, and stress relief was a core goal for both of them during this testing process.
“I tend to use CBD when I feel my stress levels ramping up — or already on full blast!” Mauceri said. “I took a single Soul CBD Gummy (10 mg), which helped me slow down enough to reset on mild days. On more stressful days, I found that 1.5 [mg] gummies was the right dose.”
Snyder, who used the 25-mg gummies, also found that they soothed her stress a little. “I noticed feeling physically relaxed, but in a way that allowed me to continue my workday,” Snyder said. This echoes what other customer reviews say.
However, Snyder notes that the gummies seemed to relax her body more than her mind. “I might need a higher dose for a more intense sensation of relaxation,” she said.
Both Snyder and Mauceri agreed that the gummies made a difference to their stress without being too intense or potent. “I would definitely say the effects of these gummies were mild — gentle but effective,” Mauceri said. “They did the trick but did not hit me over the head.”

I was really pleasantly surprised at how quickly the gummies helped me ease back into sleep — within 15-20 minutes, which is far better than tossing and turning for an hour!”
They’d be fantastic for beginners
If you’re new to CBD, or if you simply prefer a lower dose, Soul CBD may be a good choice for you.
“This gummy is available in 10 mg or 25 mg, which is great — low potency for a beginner, and higher potency for more advanced user,” Snyder noted.
“I feel like these gummies would be a good choice for anyone starting out with CBD gummies,” Mauceri said. “They are low dose, very pleasant, and gentle.”
Plus, these are THC-free CBD gummies — which can be preferable for those who are sensitive to the effects of THC.
Unfortunately, though, Soul CBD’s gummies don’t come in a more potent variety. “The dose might be too low for more experienced CBD gummy folks,” Mauceri said. Snyder agreed that she may need a slightly stronger dose than the 25-mg gummies.
With that said, there’s an easy fix for this: Simply take 2 gummies (or 1½ gummies, as Mauceri did). Since these gummies are so delicious, we’re sure that a second helping will go down well!
