BLT on Keto "Buns"

About this recipe:

A classic sandwhich made to fit a keto diet.

Ingredients:
  • 8 bacon strips
  • 1 tomato
  • ½ butter lettuce head
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 keto buns
Instructions:
  1. Place bacon slices in a cold skillet. Place over medium heat and cook 8 minutes, turning regularly, until browned and done to your preference.
  2. While bacon is cooking, slice keto bun in half widthwise and toast. Slice tomato into rounds. Separate and wash butter lettuce leaves.
  3. Layer bacon, tomato and butter lettuce on one half of the keto bun. Spread mayonnaise on the other half. Close sandwich.
