Dr. Joshua Copel is a board certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology with subspecialty certification in maternal-fetal medicine. He practices at Yale Medicine after receiving his MD from Tufts School of Medicine, and completing residency at The Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. He has served as president of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to his active clinical practice of ultrasound in pregnancy, he is the assistant dean for clinical affairs at Yale School of Medicine. He is a professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences, and of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine.
