Peapod is an online grocery store that offers grocery delivery directly to your home or business. Peapod is owned by Ahold Delhaize, a company that also owns the grocery chains Stop & Shop and Giant Landover, among others.
Although Peapod used to deliver from its own warehouses and operate as a fully online grocery store, it now partners with chains like Stop & Shop to provide grocery delivery. In select areas, Peapod also offers grocery pickup from these stores.
According to their website, Peapod carries most items that normal grocery stores carry, including fresh produce, meats, frozen and refrigerated foods, alcohol, and local items. They also offer meal kits and ready-to-eat meals.
PodPass is an optional membership program that’s made available to you after you place your first Peapod order or your new member promos have expired.
It costs $119 per year and offers unlimited free delivery on orders over $100.

However, if Peapod is available in your area and you normally shop at one of its partner stores like Stop & Shop anyway, the service may be worth it for you.
