Posing your question to the community in a group is a great way to get answers and advice from others who can relate to your experience. Head to the Groups tab and choose the group that best fits your question topic and ask away! You can even attach a photo to help expand your post. Likewise, responding or reacting to another member’s post can go a long way in making them feel supported and heard. Just remember to tap, “Reply” so that the member can see your response.

Find a variety of groups and topics to choose from on your Groups home screen. Think of these as virtual chat rooms to discuss all of the most important aspects of life with type 2 diabetes. From treatments to symptoms, there are so many places you can go for advice and community. Plus, a blue dot will always let you know when there are new conversations to explore.
Want to learn more about the latest treatments or hear about others’ experiences? Joining a live conversation is a great way to learn more about the condition and share your own experiences while also meeting other members of your community. Live conversations take place every Sunday-Thursday at 5:30 pm PT in the Live Discussions group. Turn on your push notifications to never miss your chance to get real-time advice and support.

Get advice and find support by connecting with other members on a similar health journey to yours. You can message members you meet in a group by tapping on their profile image and heading to their profile page or by finding them on your Members page. Unsure of what to say first? Start by mentioning the post or profile addition that made you want to connect with them! If you don’t have the time to search for connections, let us do the hard work for you. Just turn on your Daily Match and we’ll send you a member you can relate to each day.
Have a question? Chances are you’re not the first person to ask it. Head to the search bar — the magnifying glass icon at the top of your screen — and search your keywords to find any post, live chat, article, or even member that fits your description. Whatever you’re looking for, there’s so much more to our community than what’s on the surface; use the search bar to find what you need quickly and easily.
Find a library of medically-reviewed articles and personal stories from members like you all within the Discover section. Are you looking for the latest and greatest? Check out the New and Noteworthy category — located at the top of the Discover page — to get caught up on the latest news and resources. With new articles added weekly, you’ll always have access to the most up-to-date information.
Now that you’ve explored our community a bit, we want to make sure that you get the most out of your experience. The best way to do that is to add to your profile. Including an “About Me” bio and answering some questions will help deepen your connections with other members and allow us to curate the right experience for you. Turning on your push notifications is an excellent way to get the most out of your community. Doing so will allow you to stay updated on the latest news and be alerted to an upcoming live, community discussion. Head to your account settings to manage your notification preferences and receive daily article resources, live chat updates, and to see when a member has messaged you or replied to your post.
