Signs to Talk to Your Doctor About Excessive Sweating

Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) can be difficult to talk about. You may be used to sweating in both warm and cold temperatures, and you may have given up on finding the “right” antiperspirants. However, hyperhidrosis is sometimes more than just a nuisance. It can even be a sign of a medical condition (secondary hyperhidrosis).

If you experience any of these symptoms on a regular basis, it may be time to talk to your doctor about excessive sweating and how to treat it.

If you experience these signs of excessive sweating, schedule an appointment with your doctor. They can help you determine the underlying causes and perhaps offer prescription solutions.

Severe hyperhidrosis may require surgery. The earlier you seek help from your doctor, the sooner you can find relief from excessive sweating and its disruptions to your everyday life.
