The DiabetesMine™ D-Data ExChange is a gathering of key innovators creating applications and platforms that leverage diabetes data to produce healthier outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, increase transparency to policy decision-makers and care teams, and improve prospects for patient engagement.
It was created as an offshoot of our annual DiabetesMine Innovation Summit in 2013, and in response to a groundswell of interest, this catalyst for the #WeAreNotWaiting movement has now become a bi-annual happening.
The most recent DiabetesMine D-Data ExChange took place on Nov. 16, 2017, at Stanford School of Medicine, in association with our annual Innovation Summit happening there.
This incredible 8th gathering of leading diabetes data and device experts, health data innovators, patient activists and regulatory experts featured:
- an Opening Talk by the Executive Director of Stanford’s new Center for Digital Health, Dr. Mintu Turakhia;
- a hands-on workshop on patient-led research by #WeAreNotWaiting leader Dana Lewis;
- an FDA update on their new Digital Health Software Precertification program;
- a look at blockchain technology in healthcare;
- and much more.
