Trick: If you don’t have an hot air popcorn popper try using microwave popcorn, but make sure to get the reduced fat and salt variety to keep this a healthy snack.

  • 8 cups air-popped popcorn
  • 2 cups crisp corn squares
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup dairy-free margarine, cubed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

In a large ungreased roasting pan combine the popcorn, cereal and cranberries.

In a microwave-safe container, heat margarine, honey and cinnamon on high power until margarine melts and the mixture is hot but not boiling. Pour over popcorn mixture and toss to coat evenly.

Bake 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven and spread on sheets of wax paper; cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
