- What does in-network mean?

In-network means your insurance provider and Dr. Frank B. Strickland, D.D.S. have a contractual agreement to provide healthcare services at a discounted rate, often called a negotiated rate, that you pay.
Example: You go to a doctor that’s in-network and the total charge is $250. A discount is applied to that amount for our negotiated rate with the doctor. The discount is $75. Your insurance pays $140. You’ll have to pay the remainder, which is $35.
- Why doesn’t a provider accept my insurance?
