How was your appointment with Dr. Shiba?

    Oct 08, 2022
I am so thankful that I had my cataract surgeries with Dr Shiba. My vision has never been good but with cataracts developing in both my eyes since my early 30s my vision was awful. Dr Shiba was very clear about the benefits and she was also good at explaining my special risks. My eyes are an unusual shape, I have a family history of retinal detachment. She ordered extra scans to ensure the strength of my retina was up to the surgery. I very much appreciated the extra care. I’m in my 40s, a couple decades younger than lost folks who have cataracts and I’m glad I took care of them now. So glad to have 20/20 vision for the first time since the 3rd grade! Healing happened practically overnight. Was basically back to regular life in a few days! Dr Shiba was communicative, caring, a great doctor!
