After your provider has thoroughly reviewed your history, physical findings, laboratory evaluations, and ultrasound report, she or he will determine whether your pregnancy is at low or high risk for complications. A pregnancy may be considered high risk when the mother has a medical condition that could affect the pregnancy or when there are signs of a potential complication in the fetus.
