What other drugs will affect perindopril?

Before taking perindopril, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following drugs:

• lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith);

• a potassium supplement such as K-Dur, Klor-Con;

• salt substitutes that contain potassium; or

• a diuretic (water pill).

If you are using any of these drugs, you may not be able to use perindopril or you may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment.
