Video Games Lower Test Scores
New research shows that young boys who own a video game system are as a whole more likely to do poorly on school tests than those boys who don't own video games. According to study author Dr. Robert Weis, it's unclear whether playing video games affects academics, but he is "confident that it's the game ownership and the amount of time [spent] playing that causes these academic delays." IBS Patients Don't Need Colonoscopies
People with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) aren't at increased risk for polyps, colon cancer or inflammatory bowel diseases, such as Crohn's disease and, in most cases, don't require a colonoscopy, U.S. researchers say.
