Forward folding compresses the organs and the abdominal cavity and allows fresh blood and oxygen to return to the digestive organs. Seated twisting posses are also beneficial. They can help manage stomach gas pain and bloating. And standing twist positions may help wake up the digestive organs and promote regularity.
