Never fear, let love you show you how to split the bills without splitting up. Bankruptcies, bail outs, credit crunch. Times are tough but, well banks on Mall Street might be throwing in the towel, there’s no need for you to drown and debt. Love or money. A true.com survey of more than two thousand people found it singles choose love over money even during hard economic times. 49% of man and 36 % of women said they wouldn’t curve their dating spending even a little bit in a tough economy. But, how do you figure out your financial fare share of a night out on the town. On the first date only 1% of women thought they should pick up the check but 25% thought it would be appropriate to split the bill. [Demonstration] Take turns. If a calculator doesn’t fit in your clutch we’ve got another approach. In a pull by askman.com, 56% of respondents said that rather than dividing by two the best way to split the bills was for couples to take turns paying for dates. However, beware because not all dates are created equal. [Demonstration] Is he broke? In the true.com survey, 80% of women said that they would not dump their partners simply because he is in debt or filed for bankruptcy. In these cases it’s okay to float your men and pick up his end of the check but, figure out a budget and stick to it. Remember you’re not a bank and you may want to consider charging interest before you loose interest in him.
