now Echinacea is used by people to help prevent and shorten the duration of the common cold. As far as i know, there are no good studies that shows that that actually does that. If you take it and you feel it shorten your cold or helps you prevent getting a cold then keep taking it. I don't technically recommend it though, i really don't think it helps much, again i don't think it hurts but i don't think it helps. New England Journal of Medicine put out a statement that said that there are no proof that it really helps with the cold, shorten its durations, prevent it. So in my opinion there's not much to the product...again if you take it and like it, i'm not gonna tell you no. There are no negative side affects fo my knowledge from taking Echinacea, again i just don't think...I wouldn't recommend it for reasons people it today.
