Host: We here with trainer Skip Jennings who is showing off some urban rebounding moves. Now before the break, we played a home video from Alicia who was looking for a low impact home workout. So take a break, talk to us about what we're doing here. Skip Jennings: Alright, urban rebounding is a great exercise for low impact. It's great for you knees if you are a runner. Host: Yeah. Skip Jennings: It's great for all your joints. We know there was research that was done at Cornell, and they put participants on the rebounded 30 minutes a day, three times a week. They gained balance coordination, they gained muscle strength and balance, it was great. The other thing -- go ahead. Host: I was just saying and this is something you can do to it in home? Skip Jennings: You can do it in home, you can do it in the gym, it's also in the gym. Host: How much is one of these costs? Skip Jennings: 120 and how compare that to -- Host: Not at all one twenty cents. Skip Jennings: No. $120 but compare that to a treadmill, that's about $4,000, but with this, you're going to get 6 DVDs as well, a stability ball and anyone can do it from age 8-80. It's a great way to really turn back to handsome time. Remember when your mom said, don't jump on the bed, well now we can jump on the bed, we can have fun and laugh. Host: Yeah. Skip Jennings: My clients love it all the time when I put them on the rebounder. Host: So it's all about having fun. Skip Jennings: Having fun. Host: Staying active, good for your heart, so shall we do it? Get some music going. Skip Jennings: We start with the basic right here. So press down, engage the core, think about bouncing down, hands on your hips, this is called the basic, pushing down. So here we go, you want to try some jacks, check it out, do low jacks. I see you got your skin holes there. Now I want to see side to side right here, good. Now you got to stay with the basic. Let me show you some of the other things you can do, how about running? Yeah. We can get them punching up to the sky here, some jacks, rip the sky, how about some chirps? And chirps, good. Host: So skip is going to keep showing us some new moves.
