Tamsen: Hey everybody, Matt and Tamsen here. Okay, this next question, we get this one a lot. “Why do people games?” This girl has a guy friend, they kiss a little bit, they text back and forth but that’s about it. She wants to know if he's testing the water or he’s just for fun. Matt: I think he's testing the waters. Tamsen: Yeah! Me too! Matt: Guys have a real hard time coming out and say, “You know what, hey I'm interested let’s hang out, let’s do something.” Because we’re insecure and— Tamsen: He's just trying to see if you’re—put his toes in the in the water. Matt: Exactly! Tamsen: Whatever text message. Matt: Exactly! So, I mean if you want to call the cards say “hey”, you know pick him anywhere in the office, “let’s see how it would be if we hang up a little bit.” That, you take the pressure out of him, you look unique and you find out. You got to take action to control your own destiny. Tamsen: Yeah! And she's also asking why do people play games in general? Well quite frankly, it’s because they don’t really know what they want and because they’re not secure enough to say like “Hey, this is the person I want to be with the rest of my life and I'm prepared to make that kind of commitment” so that’s why— Matt: And nobody wants to be— Tamsen: They just don’t know what they want. Matt: Right! Nobody wants to be recalculated. Tamsen: Yeah! Absolutely! Matt: So, if we can figure it out without actually putting ourselves out there, that’s what's going on here. Tamsen: Good luck! We’re trying to figure out many women, okay until next time.
