For a couple of years I was doing a lot of sort of more alternative things. I was doing Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbs under the guidance of a doctor and meditation, breathing exercises. I was also, I had also removed a number of items, of things from my diet. I was not eating dairy. I tried not eating dairy for a while and then eventually when I did go back eating dairy, and I still follow this to this day, but I eat only organic. Being consistent with the foods I ate, you know, trying to be as healthy as possible because of the extra… I had read some articles that potentially the extra hormones that they put in some of the livestock, you know, that that could affect the estrogen production in your body and, which may be a cause for these fibroids. So I really tried the whole realm, and I know that these approaches have worked, and do work, but my fibroid was just really too big. It got to the point where it was just too big to do anything and especially after my first baby when the fibroid grew with the pregnancy there really wasn’t any other option except for the myomectomy.
