Now, we are going to teach you four total body moves. And the first is called the power press. We are going to use a bat today. You can use hockey stick or broomstick. Now this move link lower body, core and upper body together to make really powerful moves. So the first thing you have to remember, the power press technique is really important. You start in a nice strong squat and then what is going to happen is you are going to come up and press through. So again, nice strong is squat, linking it all together as a one move and press through. If you need a partner, one person is a spotter and one is doing the work. So here is the bat. So our spotter is going to turn size which is in the bat and arms are lock. Let us get into a position. Nice and strong, she is going to be resisting off from partner. Andrea is going to do the work. So again, they movement is from a nice strong flat. Let us go slowly and I will press through. She has tried again. Remember she is going to link the moves together. So are you ready? Squat and toss your back. Try it again, linking it together, squat and press. Good. And again, this person is resisting. One more time, one nice strong with squat and toss your back. Good. Okay. let us just see what the guys are doing over here. So wait guys, let us see if you are setup properly. Okay so, the spotters got locked arms, sideways, so you are nice and strong, turn side ways lock it up, okay. Larry is going to do the work, in locks resisting, nice strong squat and ready and press through. Toss them back, try it again. Remember you run it and you want it to link it all together. So lower body core and upper body are working together then press it through, and go, press through. Good. One more time. Spotter, nice strong arms, locks those arms resisting and go. This one is called the powerpress.
