Total Body - Backward Toss Video

Use a medicine ball in order to increase total body strength with the backward toss drill.

This next total body move is called the Backward Toss. Again, the benefits are is it links your lower body, core, and upper body together. What you want to think about doing is you being in a nice strong squat and getting ready to toss the ball back, and think of your arms being the extension of your legs. You are going to slowly come up, you are going to power up and your are going to catapult the ball back high as far as you can. Cassandra and Dylan are going to demonstrate it. Okay, nice, slow squat. Remember Cassandra, powering up to the legs and extending the arms and toss it back. Good! Dylan lets it drop and then he is going to give it a try. Think about it, really strong power up and extend through those arms. Good! This exercise is great for everybody to try. Cassandra and Dylan are doing a fantastic job. Great! Again, linking that whole body together. This total body move is called the Backward Toss. Good!
