When the tooth fairy visits, she comes with the intention of welcoming your child into the world of big kid teeth. The fact that she actually leaves the cool trinket, which in the past has traditionally been money, really excites kids. Have you ever had a creative tooth fairy visit your child? Once we found that she left two quarters and three beautifully polished stones for our son. No need to go overboard and leave paper dollars. Young children thrive on fantasy, not monetary items. A few shining quarters will surely bring a twinkle to their eye.
