First, of course you would always start with lifestyle, and I don’t mean in a blaming way. You don’t say, “Oh, you have to manage your stress, and if you can’t get it under control you’re a bad person.” Basically everyone would take a look at their lives and see, “Can I set better boundaries? Can I go to bed an hour earlier? Can I laugh something off instead of taking it to heart?” We do everything we can to try to manage the stress that we perceive and at the same time, sometimes underneath our biochemistry, and our body’s chemistry, don’t allow us to get very far with that. So, I help support that with certain nutritional supplements that can calm the adrenals down and not allow them to be dumping stress hormone, without our permission. Stress hormone, when it circulates the way it does, can lead to a lot of chronic, degenerative illnesses, and so, it’s okay to have it in an emergency, but it’s not very good to be running on it every day. Our bodies were never designed to do that.
