Tips to Avoid Bed Bugs Male: But to look for this everybody, you guys, you guys at home. When you get into the hotel room, whether it's the hotel or your own house look -- bed bugs like to hide. So they're going to be in the creases, in the folds, the folds of the sheets. The seams of the mattress even the pleats of the curtains, they also like to hide inside light sockets. So if there is a light socket that has a little gap behind your bed you might look there. So if after vacation, if you're worried that you might have brought bed bugs home leave all your luggage in car keep the windows rolled up and let it sit for a day and let the heat, it will get it really hot in you car and it’s get over a 120 degrees, it will kill all the bed bugs and then you're good to go. Deanna: Now that’s a good idea. Male: Well let’s just before we go to break, ladies I should put this all in prospective. These little craters they're kind of gross but they're not lethal.
