Hi, my name is Carrie Louise Daenell. I am a naturopathic doctor, and I practice in Denver, Colorado. Previously I have served as the managing editor on the Journal of Naturopathic Medicine, as the president of my state association, and as a volunteer director for my National Association. I have co-authored a book that I have been fortunate to work with a great team of professionals in the Colorado area, including probably the premiere breast radiologist in the state of Colorado called Better Breast Health for Life. I work primarily with women that are over 40 years old in the Denver area, and we work on hormonal changes, digestive health, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and, not that applies to most people but stress. You know, a lot of people focus on their upper respiratory system when they are trying to deal with their allergies, but they don’t realize that their digestive system is the core area of health that would support against allergies. And so in my practice, instead of treating the sinuses, I'm actually treating the rest of that mucus membrane all the way down through the digestive tract. When I can make the digestive system as healthy as it can be, everything else responds. At that point, true to my core as a naturopathic doctor, I am treating at the causal level, helping the body to heal itself.
