Question: Why are we seeing an increase in Type 1 diabetes cases? Dr. Jordan Lipton: We think that its from some exposures like viral epidemics and that's we just don't know what it is because it is not related to the obesification of the world and in fact it take this is going on in countries where its not generally an obese society, you know that's where its definitely on increase Scotland although Scotland I guess is getting overweight too but certainly in Scandinavia there has been a definite increase in Type 1 diabetes too and during colder months there is definitely increase. However, there has been actually may be a decrease or certainly a lower prevalence of diabetes in other parts of the world like in Asia in Type 1 diabetes although in parts of Asia Type 2 diabetes is going out so we are sort of, it's a difficult situation.
