Starting with the collagen and the collagen days, the fillers have changed recently and have moved into the HAs or the hyaluronic acids, the juvederms, the resilins and even more recently into calcium hydroxyapatite or radius. They’re used to fill lines of different depths and the hydroxyapatite or the radius is really used for facial volumization and for contouring to the face. A large portion of my practice and focus has been towards facial volumization because the fuller face is a more youthful face.
