Annie shares what the first step a woman should take to get herself into better shape.

I think the first thing that woman should do is find someone who can walk with her and encourage her and if that is a trainer then take that direction. Get someone who has successfully traveled that path that will encourage you and be your cheering squad. That would be the first step to take. For me, I also post up pictures. I have pictures of Dara Torres on my refrigerator, in the hallway because she inspires me. I have inspirational saints posted up around my house, in my car. I don’t have anything negative around me because negative energy dispels positive energy and we would like to stay positive as we pursue to our goals and walk this journey towards fitness and health.
