Episode 10 Evil Protein Cookie Hi! This is Amy and Welcome to Eating Low. Today I’m going to make a recipe for what I call the world’s most evil cookie. And I called it that because I got absolutely addicted to these cookies. There is really protein powder. I can’t believe it’s not butter and the Splenda packet and a little bit of water. So it’s not totally bad for you but they’re very addictive so I didn’t really—I wasn’t sure if I should this recipe because I really have a problem with these. I was very addicted to them. So what we going to do is take a half scoop of the Designer Whey Protein powder and you can use any protein powder you have. I’ve only tried it with the Whey powder. Then I’m going to take—I’ve never mentioned this out, I just kind of pour what looks to me to be probably about a half teaspoon to a teaspoon. I try to go easy on this stuff. It says it’s zero calories whatever but, I know there’s calories in here if you use as much as your own using, you can see I made like a little blob of it. I’m going to add just a little bit of water, don’t add too much, maybe a little more on that. Because if you add too much water you’ll make a protein shake so you just want a little bit of water to kind of thin out the dough a little bit. And we’re just going to be whooping this thing to a little ball, most of this I think are going to make a single serving. I try not to make multiples of these because they are very addictive and really they should be a trick or if you feel like you want desert, if you feel that you can afford the extra calories, the extra carbs then go out and you know it’s not a bad way to spend some time but if it is telling you I would cut it out. I had to just leave this. I almost like threw it out the window because I was just making too many of them. They are really good and they look healthy, it’s one of those things that if you look at like the paper statistics on it, you know the carb count is low, the calories are low but, everything ads up so don’t call all nutty with these. All right so I made my little cookie dough to ball you can see it here, this doesn’t look that fancy or great right now but I oven some many ways by 30 seconds to cook it and it’s going to poof up and make a cookie and I like to cook pumpkin pie slice on mine just to give it a little more flavor. It will taste kind like a sugar cookie so it’s a very evil, evil, evil cookie. So don’t make me too much. As far as carb count there’s one packet I usually count first on the packets, to put this stuff if you use half you know a half scoop,, it would be 45 calories and there’s sugar and carbs and a full serving on this so may be calorie and another carb for the protein powder and we get ready and pull it out of the bowl and there is your cookie. I’m just going to sprinkle it with my spice and there is my cookie. The finished product, I am choking. I have sucked in some of the pumpkin pie slice but it’s really good, I’m laughing. It’s really, really good, it’s good for one of those days when you feel like just oh I need something, once again I cannot warn you enough do not make these too much but, it will keep you for meeting a real cookie or going on some other kind of chip, it’s better to eat a little protein powder cookie than just to throw everything out the window and say I could.
