Allison Castillo: Sure sex is a might keep women in their place but that place might just be very nicely furnished. A recent report by the BBC shows that men who believe woman should stay home and that women who work cause a higher rate of juvenile delinquency are on an average of $8500 more than those who don’t. Well, at least now we know ridiculously antegraded ideas are worth exactly 1/8 of a Lexxus Coop. Maybe if we add and believe in stereotypes in using violence to solve conflict, we’ll have a whole car. It’s hard to pinpoint why these Cro-Magnon’s can afford magnums of Mollette while the rest of us suck down on bud, but one theory holds that having a wife who handles housework, freeze a man up to work longer hours. Perhaps a man who clings to tradition that he thinks heavy and the fiddler on the roof, also has traditional ideas and masculinity like being assertive ans competitive but serving well in the work place. One bright spot, women with non-traditional views are in $1500 more than women with traditional views. I know there was a reason I never learned to cook and clean.
