Leila: Hey welcome to watchmojo.com. I'm your host Leila. And I'm here with Stephanie who is the product manager at Lotus Palm Thai yoga massage school and she will be telling us about massage accessories. So, what are some of your best items, the accessories that people can use? Stephanie: Our most important product of all is the Thai yoga massage mat and many people use things like futons or cotton budding stuff mats which tend to bunch up or become very hard over the years and cannot be so friendly for the knees. And another product we have here is the lotus palm eye pillow which is designed to be worn in any Thai yoga massage position, thanks to the elastic so it can be worn lying down or seated upright. It’s filled with—similarly to our bolsters and our meditation cushions and they are washable so they are very hygienic. Another very practical and comfortable accessory is the relax chair and it has lot of uses. We actually make a lot of use for it in our prenatal class because we can lay them down leaning back against the chair. Leila: Can you tell us a bit some of the reading material or DVDs? Stephanie: Here we have our Thai yoga massage book which describes Thai massage sequence from beginning to end and it comes with instructional DVD, Thai yoga massage for your body type. In here, it describes how to link the ayurvedic aspects of the Thai yoga massage which is to say the ancient Indian healing tradition within the formant customize it according to the persons—and body type. Lotus Palm has also produced its own music CD called Meta and has a rhythm that is suitable to Thai massage and not a rhythm that is going to put you to sleep but not a rhythm that is going to keep you keep you awake and anxious either.
