Testing for Low-E Windows Okay so another thing that can have impact on the energy use of a house and also comfort inside is the windows, how much glass is there and is it Low-E. The Low-E glasses tend to have a little better insulating value and make it more comfortable so I'm going to test and check with this detector and it says we have Low-E glass. So that’s a big help.
