She can either do that or explain to her obstetrician that she has a thyroid problem and take advice accordingly, but it depends on the health system. If she cannot see the obstetrician for a little while, then yes she should get hold of her endocrinologist and say, “What do I do? Should I increase the thyroxine I am already on?” And we would say, “Yes, you should.”
