Dr. Tea: Welcome to Tea Tips with Dr. Tea and today we are going to talk about the general health, beauty and weight loss secrets all found in tea and you could read more about it in my Ultimate Tea Diet Book. So let's get started, shall we? The tea plant is comprised of three main ingredients to assist these three issues and that is Caffeine, L-theanine, and EGCG, Epigallocatechin gallate or Epigallocatechin 3-gallate, the miracle antioxidant. They work together in the body after you consume the tea, to promote good health, weight loss and beauty and let's discuss how. Caffeine is put in the outer membrane of the leaf not to wake us up in the morning, but as a self dependence mechanism, because when insects come to consume the leaf of Camellia sinensis, and these are the beautiful tea leaves, they are trotted by the bitterness of the caffeine, but caffeine is important for us for weight loss, because it stimulates the system. Now you are going to say, well, too much caffeine is not good, and I totally agree with you, because coffee does have too much caffeine, and tea has far less caffeine than coffee. But tea contains L-theanine. L-theanine in Camellia is the miracle ingredient, because it's only found in a tea plant and very rare mushroom that grows in Outer Mongolia. L-theanine is a non protein based amino acid that lowers caffeine harmful effects and also regulates serotonin and dopamine. So you don't feel hungry throughout the day, and that's how my weight loss properties work in The Ultimate Tea Diet, and lastly EGCG the miracle antioxidant. Now you'll be probably saying, I have heard this term antioxidant, what is it? Antioxidants are cellular surgeons. When ingested into the system, they actually repaired damage cells, because when we breathing, we eating correctly, even when we exercise, we are damaging our cells, and these damaged cells are called free radicals. These free radicals patch on to good cells and then they start to grow and they grow and they grow and they multiply and that's what leads to cancer, heart attack and stroke and higher cholesterol as well as weight gain. But by consuming antioxidants, these antioxidants repair those damaged cells. So the more antioxidants consumed, the less cellular damage you have, and therefore you able to reduce the risk of cancer, heart attack and stroke. All three of those ingredients work for weight loss, and you could read more about it in my book, and for you woman out there that want to have more beautiful and younger looking skin, what you want to do is, drink your tea, because tea hydrates the system, does not dehydrate the system like coffee.
