Tammy's Smoking Habit Tammy: I’ve been smoking since I was 13 years old and I really need to quit but it’s really hard to quit. I smoke all day long and the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is light a cigarette. Female 1: On scale of one to ten, like 30, I hate it so much. Female 2: I don’t want her to die of lung cancer because I really love her. Tammy: My oldest daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild. She said if I’m smoking when the baby’s born, I will not be able to hold my grand baby. Female 1: I don’t want my baby being around smoke and fear of catching something, getting asthma. Female 2: I want my mom to quit smoking because it smells really bad and I have asthma and it hurts my chest when I smell it. Tammy: I miss out on family moments when I smoke. When my daughter needs me for homework, I’m not there because I’m outside smoking a cigarette. I really need help to quit smoking before it’s too late.
