Question: What is talk therapy? Dr. Ziad Nahas: So in the talk therapy, we are talking about psycho therapy whether we are talking about the cognitive behavioral approach where my way of thinking influence how I feel and if I train myself to pick up on my automatic negative biases and train myself to look at it a little bit differently, ultimately I will feel better. More classically kind of a psychodynamically, psychoanalytically inspires therapy where I need to look into the subconscious to see what is driving my patterns of behavior. What are my association was older way of engaging in relationships and then seeing what is it that I am doing now that male adaptive, that are perhaps as a way of attempting and solving older problems, but not adaptive to either one. And then recognizing that and moving forward. There are other type of therapies like learning how to identify body language and tension and learning how to relax, holistically well being kind of a global things that have some merit, obviously because we are all kind of a looking after that and have role to play, perhaps more and less severe type of depression.
