A sugar soda tax, you’re actually thinking of what passing a tax against sugar sodas. The tax would be approximately of penny per ounce they think it will cut the consumption sugar beverages by less 10% or 20 calories per day. The statistics of obesity right now is that New York State they can give 60% of the adults or obese. That obesity rate has triples since in 1960’s the daily intake of sugar sweetened beverages is nearly triple since in 1970’s. Obesity says most people are aware this lead to diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, asthma and some forms of arthritis. Diabetes causes 3000 amputations and 4700 deaths each year in New York City according to an article in the daily news written by Dr. Farley and James. As sugar sweetened beverage tax of 1 cent per ounce quick knowing those we do still consumption by 10 and maybe as high as 15% and this is a good idea or bad idea.
