Sheila Clark: Well that's really interesting so if they can do it, any one can do what I would think. Now what is the actual process, so what should one expect when they are having hypnosis? Irina Benoit: Okay, well hypnotherapy is a process of creating a deep, deep state of relaxation not quite as sleep more like daydream, and the daydream really is a trans state and we've experiencing trans states all the time. They occur naturally all the time for example driving a car, watching TV you are in a trans state that's, that's similar to hypnosis. Well in hypnosis you are alert, you are very deeply relaxed, but you are alert, aware and in control all the time. And because you are a deeply relaxed we are able to bypass your critical mind and deliver suggestions directly in subconscious mind and it accepts suggestions and fact and your behavior chance accordingly. Sheila Clark: So you couldn't actually change my thinking you know against something that I wouldn't want to think for example you can't alter my mind. Irina Benoit: Absolutely not. Sheila Clark: Only I have to be in -- Irina Benoit: Yes, in fact the more you desire to make the change, the more helpful my suggestion will be. Sheila Clark: Interesting. What, you know, what I would like is to try it. Irina Benoit: Okay, we can go ahead and try it. So all you have do really like go and relax. All the way down deeper, deeper, in all that part of your mind, to bring you, to move you or shift you into that better place, more positive place, with a feel, with the positive feelings, positive attitudes, positive images about yourself getting better stronger, happier, healthier, more vital, more energized and focused on all this important things that you want to prove in your life right now, right here.
