Perhaps insulin resistance can even be a protective mechanism and if you happen to be stranded, you know, on a boat somewhere in the ocean and no one finds you, it’s great that you have insulin resistance. But if a woman knows that she’s got a family who have diabetes or she’s got high blood pressure or she’s gaining weight and she needs to control it, so truly to go and ask a professional. “Would you like to see if I already have some kind of a presentation of insulin resistance or am I getting a risk to developing disease?” And so many of those women also want to know are the medications to deal with it, should we use medications to deal with that. So clearly lifestyle and exercise is the best way to go. Some women do need the help of medications in conjunction with lifestyle and so we have to look at medication for obesity sometimes and help them to lose weight. If there are the risks of developing diabetes, we recommend today, they fall under certain criteria that they’ve got already some glucose abnormalities and lifestyle did not help control it and they progress. Well, they’ve got more than one way or two or three ways, we would say, “Let’s treat this with couple medications.” There are three of them that we’ve shown to actually hold to prevent or at least delay the progression to diabetes. See if it’s risk for heart disease. What are the lipid status? Should we treat earlier the blood pressure? Should it treat earlier the cholesterol that she has? Target what she needs. She wants to get pregnant, she cannot get pregnant. What will help her to get pregnant, at the same time, if you don’t want to get pregnant, you perhaps don’t need yourself with self-medication that can be there. So a woman should truly, if she gets to that state, go to the health care professional or their physician, sometimes a dietician, if it’s that what she needs, to see where to go but clearly today where insulin resistance you’re finding progressive primary cures like internist and family physicians that they are interested in the subject. These are whole host of your gynecologist and obviously they’re interested in this subject, some very good pediatricians for those group and currently many cardiologists on board now and definitely endocrinologist if they come and talk to you.
