Interviewer: Many times patients get colds, my kids making funny snoring sounds, they call it whizzing sound or snoring sound. What is that? Interviewee: Babies are nasal breathes, they breath mostly through the nose and they do ever have blockage out of the mouth as adult we tend to breath more from the mouth then from the nose. So, babies make a lot of snoring, whizzing sounds and so on. These are mostly nasal sounds and that quite normal; they actually get worse even in the winter times, during dry seasons and so on. Because babies do need a little moisture for breathing so moist area is extremely important so during the period of time especially with the winter now when we stop heating our apartments a supply humidification extremely important so that the babies will minimize this type of nasal sounds which distress the parents more than that actually are the problems.
