Single Leg Push-up Exercise Hi this is Toby from Kansas and I'm going to be doing another twist on an old thing. So what we’re going to do is a Single Leg Push-up. Get into the Single Leg Push-up position which should be a regular push-up, crossing the legs ups the ankle. Basically what you’re doing is narrowing your base of support and whenever you narrow your base of support it increases the intensity of the exercise. Simply bring yourself down keeping the torso as well as your hips off the ground. Looking straight back up, let’s continue, 1, 2, 3, good tighten the abs and try not to arch the lower back or the upper part of the back. You’re going to know that you’re doing is exercise correctly if you feel a little bit of strain within your chest as well as triceps. A little bit in the lower back because when you stoop in, you’ll be tightening your abs as well. So you can do a regular push up but the wider that you have your feet the easier it is, so the more narrower that is it’s the more challenging it to be.
