Single Leg Knee Extension Exercise Hi, my name is Tamal Dodge. I was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii, practicing yoga and meditation my whole life. I grew up in Ashram my whole life practicing yoga and meditation. I'm going to show you what is called a Singe Leg stand Extensions. Thousands of years old and it’s really is funny because you find on everything that people do now is somehow did it thousands of years ago. Now I love this exercises because whether you've been practicing yoga for ten years as we started today. You’re going to get something out of it, everybody it’s a universal exercise. The single leg extension, that’s a beautiful exercise for sure your calves, your quadriceps stimulate your shoulders as well as playing with stability. That’s actually kind of a variation of another exercise called three pose, we’re going to come with your feet together with your toes touch. Take a large inhale, reach your arms high, shift the weight into your right leg and then lift your left leg up as high as you feel comfortable. It kind of adds some extra elements of weightlifting in a way because you’re extending leg that you keep moving in a posture and most traditionally if you’re holding a posture. Inhale and then exhale, so that in that way it becomes a little extra and puts a little extra spin on it. It’s quantified and then to just come out of this, kiss your palms together, take a match in your heart center and set your foot down.
