Female: What would you think is the best exercise to burn calories? In ten minutes of continuous activity, running burns on average 90 calories, swimming 74, biking 60 and walking 43. A game of basketball burns 102 calories, and judo 118. Experts say when trying to lose weight, you must count calories. John Cooke: “A person gains weight when their caloric intake is too high. When the number of calories they eat is greater than the amount of energy they’re expending.” Female: The more activity, the more calories and fat you will burn. Choose an activity you enjoy and make it a part of your daily routine.
