I think that most of the time, it’s fairly straightforward and pretty obvious. Every now and then, you get somebody that is difficult to tell obviously if your arm or finger or whatever is crooked or angled the different way. You kind of assume that there is a fracture or potentially a joint where it’s dislocated out of socket so to speak. But it can be more subtle especially when you’re talking about things like stress fractures. So the things you kind of want to watch out for are pain with activity especially pain that is increasing the longer you do it and pain that’s taking longer and longer to go away after you’re done running or whatever it is. So say, you might have a stress fracture of a bone in your foot, it may hurt ten minutes into a run. Over the next few days, you try to run through with it. It starts good and coming on five minutes into a run, the minute you start. I mean, earlier and earlier and instead of taking an hour to go away, it’s taking a day to go away or three days to go away. I guess those will worry some things for a more subtle injury. Again, it depends on the severity of the fracture and what bone it is. Obviously, if you’re talking about one of the bigger bones in the body especially if you’re talking about a fracture that is angled or is short or something like that, you could potentially be talking about surgery. Some of the more subtle things like stress fractures or fractures of bones in your hand or feet, that type of thing, a lot of times, it can be simple but somewhat aggressive still like a cast or things like that, or it may just be giving up that activity like a stress fracture of the foot. It may just be that we keep you from running or maybe we keep you off of it on crutches but not need to operate or put you in a cast.
