What are the signs and symptoms of Arrhythmia? Dr. Amy Epps: The other symptoms of other types of heart disease from an Arrhythmia stand point, very common are palpitations, palpitations can be described as skipped beats, funny feelings in the chest, feeling like your heart's doing flip-flops, feel like your heart's racing away from you, you may even, it may even associated with a panicky sensation. Very common in women going through hormonal changes, whether it's pregnancies or menopause. A very common symptom is they have these palpitations so that feels like their heart is just flipping in the chest and that's a real thing. It doesn't actually mean it's a serious kind of possibly fatal heart condition but it's still a heart disease that can be recognized and treated.
