Shelving Tips for Food Storage Hi, I’m Marilyn with Get it Together Organizing, I’m so happy that you here today to see my web show. A couple of weeks ago, I had a free give away and to enter the give away 0:17 people submitted questions to me about organizing and Janice from Saltt Lake City asked me about her food storage and how to store it. She said that it was hard to get the cans to stand up that they would get knocked over and so the shelves became a mess. I want to show you some organizing ideas on how to solve that problem. Let’s look at this room here. First of all, 0:44.my hand what is resting on. These shelves were built with just these brackets and later this was out of this 0:52 which may exit better when there’s an earthquake that everything will fall out on to the floor. Something is probably well. The hard things but it will help to prevent those. Okay. These expand shelves. This is made so that you take one out and the others roll backwards and so you will never have any problems with them falling over. And then you just fill it from the top. This is a little extra one because it does have to fit there. So this solves the problem of cans falling off the shelves. Now, if you’re going to 1:37 as these are up here. Cans will stock vertically on the top of each other but they stocked even better if you do two under and then do one on top, in between. Just another quick tip, if she has this in her food storage is paper products. Paper products have a life of their own I think. So in this instance, this is an old box from an old cardboard dresser and the napkins and the cups having contained in here. This stocked of plate have been put in here. Now, if you are sharing your food storage room with something else in the room like say you 2:27, I recommend you just hung up curtain and then it hides what is behind there and make sure you room looks tidier. Janice and everyone, I hope this has helped. For more information and tips on organizing, visit my website and I have video workshops that show you how to organize different rooms.
