Host: If your child is in front of a lot of TV, computer games and computers, we call it screen time, and it is a phenomenon, the more screen time the more weight your kid will get, is that true? Maria Monteverde: Yes, yes. The American Academy of Pediatrics now actually recommend typically only one to two hours of screen time per day and to increase that physical activity, if the child is little older, that we are talking about. Basically in school days, a minimum of 30 minutes because they are aware of all the school work that they have to do. On the not school days a minimum of one hour because the kids are just not as active as they used to be because they are in front of the screen all the time. Host: Well, thank you.
