Raena Morgan: Hi, I'm Raena Morgan with iHealthTube, visiting with Dr. Rapaport. Dr. Rapaport, you've created the first viable oral form of ATP. Talk to the viewers about the safety of your product. Dr. Eli Rapaport: Oh! That's a great question and a very important one. Since we have discussed the efficacies for so long and since efficacy has to go hand in hand with safety, it's time to discuss the safety of the product. We did emphasize throughout our discussions that the enhancement of blood flow and the stimulation of glucose disposal go without any effect on heart rate or blood pressure. In other words, the reduction in systemic vascular resistance is not enough to affect blood pressure or to reduce blood pressure or to produce hypertension. So in other words, ATP is not a stimulant. It does not involve an affect on the heart. The heart does not pump harder to achieve the stimulation in blood flow. Raena Morgan: That's good to know. Dr. Eli Rapaport: The other point that I would like to emphasize is that the oral ATP has been on the market now for 4 years and we haven't had a single complaint. Raena Morgan: Very good. Dr. Eli Rapaport: About the different formulations. Also, I think it's time to bring up the French trials that were published that demonstrated a highly positive effect on subacute low back pain. They used 161 patients in one trial and 157 patients in the other trial divided into two halves, but these patients were in double-blinded, multi-site trials, where the ATP was in the form of a powder in 2 halves of the hardshell capsule. Again, there was no problem whatsoever. It was completely safe. Raena Morgan: Very well tolerated. Dr. Eli Rapaport: It was very well tolerated and not a single complaint. Raena Morgan: Oh! very good. Dr. Eli Rapaport: So I think that the questions of efficacy and safety are very, very favorable towards this type of nutritional supplement. And again, I need to emphasize that we are dealing with the natural arginase. With the arginase or the ligand that the body uses for these purposes not some synthetic molecule that is toxic that was synthesized by pharmaceutical company. It's a natural product. It's a product that the body itself uses for these particular purposes. We are trying, in a true nutritional supplement term, to enhance the effect of the body, or to supplement the effect that the body has seemed to have lost during aging, or during certain conditions. Raena Morgan: So, it's safe, it's well tolerated and it's effective. Dr. Eli Rapaport: Yes. Raena Morgan: Well, thank you for developing this form of ATP, Dr. Rapaport, and thank you.
