When you were at your highest weight and started running, how long did it take you to become more physically active? Annie: Well my weight took a while to come off. I took about a year and that was a combination between me running, as well as that’s when I developed some unhealthy habits of starvation and also just not feeding myself proper foods. It took me a good eight months to start actually being able to run a mile to three miles, and I was seeing that running has to involve logging how much you run, what you do, stretching. I was having to learned stuff on my own because I didn’t have a good trainer at that time. I did not know how to do it correctly, so it’s kind of grass, peanuts I thought I was fumbling around in the dark, but I was getting it done. I was getting closer to my goal. It’s just taking me longer than I expected it too. It’s like I couldn’t get discourage.
