Host: Are there resources available for stroke survivors and their care providers? Dr. Nina Solenski: There are many, many resources, that's the good news. There are resources that are provided by organizations such as the American Stroke Association, the National Stroke Association, our own NIH which stands for National Institute of Health. Any of these organizations have very, very good websites with lots of information for not only for the stroke patients themselves, but for their caregivers as well. So I highly recommend those. Many of the organizations also, they will offer stroke recovery support groups and this is a wonderful resource for both caretakers as well as for the victim of the stroke to be able to really talk frankly about their concerns and their issues having to do with their disease.
